v0.1.0 Alpha · Mission chat, smarter filters, cleaner rides

Released 9 October 2026

Every mission now has its own chat, finding a ride takes fewer taps, and a long list of rough edges from the first tester round is smoothed out.

New

  • Mission chat: everyone going to a mission, and its organiser, can talk in one place. New messages show a count on the mission page and a push when a quiet chat wakes up.
  • Rides and trips now have three times: when riders gather, when the pack moves out, and when it closes.
  • Can't find your bike? Recommend the missing model straight from the model picker and we'll add it.
  • Five trim levels for your bike: Shipped, Stock, New, Semi loaded and Fully loaded.
  • Filters on Missions: quick buttons for the mission type and official missions, and a filter panel for search, riding category, average speed and date.
  • Tap a route stop or the meeting point to open it in Google Maps. Links in a mission's description open too.

Improved

  • A redesigned mission page: the ride reads as one timeline from gathering to closing, details the organiser left empty are hidden, and joining, check-in and chat sit in a bar at the bottom that never scrolls away. Organisers get one MANAGE button for editing, the roster, marking done and cancelling.
  • Times show in 12-hour format (5:00 PM), and the time picker uses an AM/PM clock.
  • The mission page shows the date and time together at the top.
  • The check-in method is asked while you create a mission, not only when you edit it.
  • Saved spots are marked in green, you can un-save one with the same tap, and they appear in the "Choose a spot" list.
  • You count as going on the missions you organise.
  • Riders waiting for approval and riders already checked in also hear when a mission they joined changes.
  • Missions without a cover photo show the Wheelers badge instead of an empty box.
  • Mission cards only show the details the organiser filled in.
  • Bolder, clearer Edit and Cancel buttons on your own missions.

Fixed

  • Form fields no longer turn red when they are filled in correctly; red now means something is missing.
  • A check-in time on a different day from the start now shows its day.
  • Trim names show properly in the feed instead of "FULLLOADED".
  • Four team chat room switches in notification settings showed as "unknown" and could not be turned off. They now have their names and save properly.
  • Tapping a team chat room notification in your inbox now opens the team chat, just like the push does.
